I won't be posting IRL pictures, I have some great pictures just not much of a fan of IRL. But the following posts will include some hopefully spectacular pictures. Tomorrow we head to Fallon, NV for an airshow at NAS Fallon on Friday and practice show tomorrow. Saturday we will have to get up early to make it to Sacramento for the Capitol Airshow which will include the F/A-22 Raptor demo team and a flyby by the B-2 Spirit. Can't wait for the trip to start.

Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca

This year Porsche was the featured marque for the Monterey Historics and they brought many of the Le Mans contenders and some winners. My favorite cars there included six 917s, all kinds of 908s, 910s, 956s, and 962s. Four of the 917s were from the legendary Gulf Racing Team operated by John Wyer. Steve McQueen's 917K that he drove in the movie Le Mans was also there.
